SITE INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
A plain-language account of information handling on this independent educational website.
Who is responsible
This website, rankrovertallsta.courses, publishes Hospitality Robotics Lab, an independent educational resource about hospitality technology. The stated editorial entity is Rankrover Editorial Studio Ltd.; the company details shown on this site are illustrative and are not presented as verified registration information. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
Information this site handles
You can browse the editorial pages without entering personal information into a site account; no account feature is offered. If you use the contact form, your name, email address, enquiry topic and message are processed in your browser for validation. The form does not transmit or submit your message to a server. Do not include sensitive personal information in a message. If you choose to contact us by email, the information in that email is transmitted through your email provider and may be handled by the providers involved in delivering and storing it.
The site’s consent interface stores a preference record in your browser’s localStorage. It records a version, your selected consent state, optional category choices and a timestamp. This is browser storage, not a server-side account record. The site does not currently implement analytics scripts, advertising pixels or third-party tracking cookies. Your browser and hosting provider may independently create standard technical logs as part of delivering a website; their handling depends on the provider and configuration, which this editorial site does not control.
Why information is used
Contact details sent by email are used to read and respond to the enquiry, maintain correspondence and address related follow-up. Local consent storage remembers your choice and allows the settings panel to present your selection. Basic technical information processed by a hosting service may be used to deliver content, maintain security or diagnose faults, subject to that service’s practices.
Storage and retention
The consent preference remains in localStorage until it is changed or cleared through your browser. Clearing site data removes that preference, so the consent notice may appear again. Information in an email is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the correspondence, administration or legitimate recordkeeping purpose involved. The site has no server-side contact-form database. Hosting logs, if maintained by the provider, follow the provider’s own retention arrangements.
Service providers and international handling
This site does not currently add analytics or advertising processors. A static hosting provider may process technical request data to serve the website. Email providers may process messages when you contact the published address. Review the relevant provider’s privacy information for details about its services, locations and retention. Depending on the services you use and where you are located, information may be handled in another country under the provider’s arrangements.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, to object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. People in California may have rights under applicable CCPA/CPRA provisions, which can include rights to know, delete or correct certain personal information and to opt out of certain sale or sharing. This site does not sell personal information or use cross-context behavioural advertising. Legal rights and exemptions depend on your circumstances and jurisdiction.
To make a privacy request, email [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject and describe what you need. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm the request relates to you. You may also contact your local data-protection authority where applicable. A browser’s localStorage can be cleared using its site-data controls; cookie settings can be reopened using the footer link.
Security and changes
Reasonable care should be taken when handling correspondence, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. This policy is informational and does not promise a particular security outcome. We may update this text when website practices change. The current version will be posted here with its revision date. Questions can be sent to the privacy contact above.
